This is my mom, me and my kids at Disneyland. Wishing her a very happy Mother's Day today!! Love you mom!! :0)
Just to catch up, we took the kids to Disneyland! So fun!! We always try to take the trip around my birthday, it's a fun way to celebrate... by screaming my head off on the roller coasters! A few fun highlights from the trip...
Jeff on this ride with the 2 youngest and bravest... but this pic made me sad!!
We had an awesome few days and by the end I thought my legs would fall off! Gosh I was SO SORE! ha ha ha You know that walk you get when you are tired at the end of the day at Disneyland, the Disneyland walk? The, if this is "the happiest place on earth"... why am I the tiredest person in the world walk?.... ya, had that walk for 3 days afterward! lol

More fun news!! I am leaving this week for a magical few days with some of my very favorite people!!!!

What an awesome group of ladies! I can't wait to sit and share the weekend again with these girls, most who I had the privilege of meeting last fall at Silver Bella. I can't wait! I'll be sure to share as many photos of the event as I possibly can!! :0)

On a personal note, I am in the process of rescheduling my website opening. We've had some serious trials in the last few weeks, including my husband losing his job. This, of course, is going to affect me and what happens to Sugar*Sugar.
Honestly, I'm not sure what the future holds for me! I am really praying about what to do with Sugar*Sugar... right now I can only see a few options. Wow, now I'm getting emotional even writing this!!
*whew*
I will either need to really push Sugar*Sugar to a whole new level, to keep it going (what I want!) or I may need to slowly dissolve the shop entirely, if I need to find other work (what I don't want, but may need to do). :0(
We haven't made any decisions yet, and my greatest desire is to have the opportunity to push forward, thru the hard stuff and continue doing what I love. I will keep you all updated on any new details, if i have any, either way!
Thank you all for being so awesome!

I am sending you my best wishes:) I have bought from you in the past and I read your blog regularly. I am so sad to hear the news of your husband losing his job. That just sucks:( Good luck with whatever you decide to do and I hope you were able to have a good time at En Le Jardin. It looks beautiful!

Know that life is never all or nothing and you are beautiful, powerful, and all will be well! So many blessings to you, too. My husband has not been called back yet, either, and all you can do is hope and believe. I send you wishes and light from Amy.

The pictures are wonderful. Sorry about the whole job thing- it's SO scary right now. My hubby has been cut back to 32 hrs a week, we're trying to sell the house, etc. I can sympathize. Hang in there, the answer will come. xoxo

I'm glad you are having a nice Mother's Day, it sounds like you need it! And you'll have a bunch of us around next weekend if you want to talk out your problems. It usually helps to have friends listen.

Analise,
My prayers are with you in regard to your situation. I pray that your husband finds work soon and that you can continue with your work. I have been following your blog for quite some time. If you have to find work in addition to Sugar Sugar, it will be difficult to continue but you can still do both. I currently have a very demanding job, am also a mom. I know the challenges. Press on my dear and do what you can without letting too much stress get you down.
Wishing you the best,
Dena

I'm so sorry to hear about your hubby's job loss. That must have been a shock. Hang in there. My mom always says that when a door closes a window opens somewhere. I'll wish the best for you both.
I hope you're kids are waiting on you hand and foot today! Hugs!
