Something that I am learning this week is to be true to myself. Not to worry about WHAT I DO but rather to consider WHO I AM.
I don't want to be SOMETHING, I want to be SOMEONE.
Who I am is a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, an auntie and a friend.
I am also a creative person, a thinker, a prayer, a person who loves to laugh and also to share my life with others. I enjoy kids and music and road trips.
There is a lot to me! :0)
On my birthday this year, I shared 33 things about myself.
I thought maybe since I'm in this whole self realization mode, I might as well share the rest of my list with my readers.
Over year or so ago, I was challenged by a friend to write out 100 things about myself. I posted those things on my myspace blog, before this blog ever existed.
So, if you are interested, here they are:

Hi Analise,
I haven't visited in a long time and decided to blog hop this evening. I've missed doing the sunday's show n tells so will check it out again.
Loved your list. Sharing in life makes a person REAL and God uses us to touch one another in ways sometimes we don't even know. But He does. I have no doubt that you sharing your belief in this post will help draw someone else to Him. I'm glad your a child of the king.

Hi, I just happened upon your blog and read your 100 things about yourself. Scary thing is I thought I was reading my own. Even though I am 24 and from Texas, you feel like a friend. Very strange. I love your tags too. My mom makes me a new one every year!

Hi Analise! Fantastic Q & A I learned so much! We have a ton in common too! I think it is nice to post without pictures too. I have found in the past 7 years a lot of blog hits are only to look at pics and people sometimes don't get to know you..how sad! Well now when I DO look at your pictures I will know more about you and feel more connected. I did this type of post at the beginning of the year actually when one of my best friends tagged me off her blog. I think we all should do this to get to know each other better...hmm food for thought lol!
Have a wonderful rest of your day..it is snowing here! YUCK! Off to post photos of that!

Analise, I visit your blog often because I have most of the things you have that I just inherited from my mom. I love how you present things and they are all so beautiful. Hope you don't mind that I painted some clothespins and spools like you did. Now if I could just figure out a way to display my thousands of lace I have. I have some really funky colored pompom trim and tassle trims---guess that is from the 70s. Great blog and I adore your things at Etsy and hope to someday open my own. Hugs, Pat

Hi Analise, we have a lot in common but I'm really OCD on #10. I think crossing off on my list gives me some satisfaction that I actually did SOMETHING! Ha, as there are many days when I feel like I don't.
Take care! ohh, I love your sneak peeks on Flickr for Silver Bella---I'm sad I can't go.

What a lovely post Analise! It must have felt good to think of these things! I have never written 100 specific things about myself but I think it would be a good thing to do! I love what you said at the beginning of this post about being someone and being true to yourself! It is a realization I NEED to enforce upon myself. Thank you so much for this motivational post! I think you are such a doll :)
hugs,
Amy
