"September: it was the most beautiful of words, he’d always felt, evoking orange-flowers, swallows, and regret." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Okay, so I'm a day or two early to be posting about September, but it's the weekend, and ehh, you don't mind do you? With fall just around the corner, (and yes, I am SO ready for FALL, it was 106 here yesterday!) there is much to be thankful for. As summer closes it's doors, many other doors are closing in my life. I am seeing things in a clearer way, have new vision for my future and hope to step out and take more risks. I am letting the dead things fall off of me in preparation for new life all around. This feels really good! Like a great pedicure... ha ha ha I feel more focused and determined. I have more drive and pull. I feel like Gwen Stefani and I Ain't No Hollaback Girl! *wink* I just don't want my life to happen, I want to create an affect my life... and I'm finally ready for that. “Today you are You, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You.” Dr. Suess ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Also in September, of course is the Sweet Six Studio! I am really excited about this retreat. Mostly because we are hoping that it will be a very close group of ladies, getting to know one another and sharing our talents together! I do hope you will be joining us! There is still time to sign up for the Sweet Six Studio On Line Art Retreat, click HERE for more info! Lastly, I am so pleased that I get to share 2 more projects from the Sweet Six that we will be learning in the studio this September! First we have the INCREDIBLE Altered and Embellished Lanterns by Heather Kowalski of Pretty Petals! Y'all are gonna LOVE this project, I am so excited wait to make one or two of these for my studio!! Next we have this SUPER SWEET CONFECTION from Miss Cheryl Dack of Rosey Posey Confections and Confections Fabric! You are gonna flip over this one... so so sweet! It is a YUMMY POCKET PILLOW! Cheryl will show us how to make this complete project, including the cupcake applique! I CANNOT WAIT TO MAKE THIS ONE!!!!!!! Isn't it so me?? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Looking Forward, Analise
