Yesterday afternoon I finally got to meet the SUPER SWEET Cheryl from Rosey Posey Confections! We have been talking for months about getting together, as we live just a few minutes away from each other... but you know how life goes... if you're like me, you are always busy. So, we just made the time (with no kiddos) to sit and chat. Oh, let me tell you, we had the best time. We totally talked shop and it was WONDERFUL!
Again, if you are like me and love this little blog world, sometimes it can seem a bit "imaginary" and like there are these people who you talk to ALL THE TIME, but have never really met them...it seems weird, like your "virtual" friends can know just as much about you as your real friends do. I am making any sense?
Anyway, we chatted about etsy and flickr and blogging and our addiction to our computer screens... you know, normal stuff. ;0)
Cheryl is celebrating her Birthday this week, so I brought her a little gifty and she brought me one too! (awe!)
We had to laugh because our packages both had our initials, so cute!
Cheryl made me this adorable altered box and eggies, made from the sweetest pink papers and vintage hymnal music...
Is the California sunshine blinding you? I don't know if you can even see it, but I made this tiny little Birthday Birdie for Cheryl.
Well, after two glasses of iced tea and 1 melted ice cream, we had to say farewell. :0(
I did have a really nice time and Cheryl is the best. You can find her sweet and shabby chic creations in her shop, Rosey Posey Confections! Tell her I said hello! :0)
In other news, I've been working like crazy (I always say that, don't I?) Okay, start over.
In other news, I've been working my fingers to the bone... no. Again.
In other news, I've been happily at work in my craft space (okay, that's better) making some new items for my shop. I have had so many of you email me with the very best compliments a girl could ever ask for. THANK YOU FOR THAT!
I seem to always be on the lookout for something new and different to offer you. I'm never sure what will work or not, but I really love putting together something that you're going to enjoy opening and actually use in your art projects!
Do you have any suggestions on items you might like to see in my shop? I've looked at a lot of options, kits, etc. and I've also thought really hard about making some of my own art to sell, buuut you know, a girl can never be sure...
For now, here are a few new things I've got in the shop...
I'm working on 6 more of these cupcake tins, so they will be listed in the next few days...
and finally the vintage wallpaper packs... Special thanks to everyone who wrote me with the much needed advice on how to lay it flat! It turned out beautifully!
Yum! Of course, my favorite is the pink and aqua pack... it makes me drool. I've got some things in mind for the vintage wallpaper...
Anyone want to share what you use it for?
I love that cake! It makes me hungry it looks so good. Just stooping by for a visit and find you blog delightful!

Oh!! Can I be just a little jealous?! Maybe you two could come for lunch some time since I seem to be tied to the house most days now. I could make "tea". I love all of your goodies Analise! Your kits are a work of art all by them self.
