Welcome to the Button Challenge!
So glad you came today!
There's been lots of buzz about buttons around here, so I decided to host a little "fashion show", as Heather put it so well, of buttons!
The CHALLENGE is simple,
SHOW ME YOUR BUTTONS!
So many of us love and collect buttons of all sorts, shapes and sizes, why not show them off a little?
I think buttons are little pieces of artwork, all by themselves. Without effort, they tell us a story. They have backgrounds, and previous owners who once adored them.
Who loved this button enough to clip it from it's original garment?
Someone, at one time, had real plans for this button...
I wonder what the seamstress who purchased these had in mind... a sweet little dress for her daughter or a proud and plain shirt for her son, maybe?
They each tell us a story, I think that's why they are so fun.
Those of you who love buttons can understand why it is no biggie to dig through an antique shop's booth and only come out with the smallest of treasures...
So we honor our BUTTONS today!
----------------------------------------------------------------
We have a lot of buttons to "sort through",
so grab a drink and snack that only requires one hand,
(you'll need the other hand to click, click, click away)
and be ready to admire the fabulous buttons and collections of some of the most talented ladies I know...
(oh and feel free to leave lots of comments,
you know how we love visitors!)

Such a pretty post! Makes me want to a) go clean and fondle my buttons and b) go buy more but I'm a classic underachiever so I will do nothing, include jumping in on this great line-up :-) Thanks for the eye candy.
